‘Westworld’ Season 3 Trailer Trying Really Hard to Remind You They Got One of the Guys from Breaking Bad

“The real Gods are coming and they’re very angry.”
These were the final words uttered in HBO’s recently released ‘Westworld’ season 3 trailer. Based on the number of times he appears in the trailer, one of the “Gods” being referred to seems to be former Breaking Bad star, Aaron Paul.
Yes, BITCH! That Aaron Paul!
Season 2 of ‘Westworld’ was met with well, not so rave reviews but, with the amount of capital HBO invested in the series a third season was inevitable. So, like many television shows struggling with plot holes and barely keeping their head above water, HBO shelled out a good chunk of change on a big-name actor. In this case, the former methamphetamine-portraying addict, dealer, and cooker was recruited to, in some respect, ‘save the series’. Aaron Paul could be exactly what the series needs.
However, after watching the trailer, although it features Paul just about as much as possible, kinda gave me hope that the third season would be, well… EPIC. Call me crazy but, 5 human-designed human-mimicking machines who previously gained consciousness of their
exploitation for the entertainment of the human race, which they now understand more deeply than the human race themselves… that’s going to be EPIC!
