Trump Quick To Award John Krasinski With Presidential Medal of News N’ Stuff
In these trying times, it’s good to know someone is trying.
On May eighteenth, John Krasinski, host of the Youtube series “Some Good News” bid an emotional farewell to his fans as he aired his final episode. This, however, did not take place before the almighty President Donald Trump could Award the former “The Office” star the Presidential Medal of News N’ Stuff.
“Look, all these news stations, CNN, MSNBC, not Fox News, they’re all bad. They’re all really very bad. I saw this news show that focused on the good and I’m sure how I was the reason for all the good, so I decided to award Jim the Presidential Medal of News N’ Stuff.”
No, the president did not seem to understand that John Krasinski was an actor who portrayed the character of Jim Halpert on television. No, the president did not seem to understand that there was no such award as the ‘Presidential Medal of News N’ Stuff”. And lastly, no, the president did not seem to comprehend that anyone who spoke positively was not always referring to him indirectly. We asked John Krasinski what went through his mind when he received a DM on twitter from the president.
“Honestly, I thought it was a hack. Hack as in a spammer that is not Hack as in what the president very much is.”
Krasinski accepted the award virtually though Mr. Trump insisted on meeting in person. Trump went as far as to hire someone to Photoshop Krasinski into a photo to make it look like the events took place in person.
