Local Witch Warns Broom Challenge is Dangerously Close to Cultural Appropriation

Twitter, WWW.

Let’s ‘clean up’ any confusion surrounding the broom challenge, which ‘swept’ the nation by storm this past Monday evening. NASA has numerical evidence that the earth’s gravitational pull was slightly, SLIGHTLY, higher yesterday, which could, COULD, cause one’s household broom to stand upright by itself. The internet took this fun little tidbit and as Local witch, Beelzebub McPointyhat put it, appropriated an entire culture.

“I’m not surprised to see Americans take a sacred culture and turn it on its head for capitalistic gain. It’s the one defining characteristic the United States has clung to throughout their nearly 250 years of existence.” McPointyhat stated sternly.

“I mean take a closer look at this article even. It’s a fictionalized fake news story in which the Witch character’s name is Beelzebub McPointyhat! The very person writing this was unable to separate themselves from the hallowed American tradition of stereotyping non-white-Christian historical figures. Good going, Murcia’. ” McPointyhat or I guess their name could be Johnson cackled.

“And even just now as you choose to describe the way I speak critically as ‘cackling’! Would you do the same to a muggle?”

“Muggle?”

“Non-magic folk.”

“That’s insulting!”

“Read a book.”
