FX Delays ‘Impeachment’ Miniseries, Saying “This Was Our Choice and Not the Product of a Strongly Worded email from Anonomyous45@aol.com”
FX is Still Relevant, Who Knew
Apparently, people still anticipate the release of TV shows on a cable network, who knew?
FX recently announced that they would delay the release of a miniseries revolving around the impeachment of Bill Clinton. Naturally, this announcement was met with a good deal of skepticism from the media considering the ongoing impeachment of President Trump.
The delay was not related to current events in any way said FX. Below is an official statement from their higher-ups.
“This was our choice and not the product of a strongly worded email from Anonomyous45@aol.com”.
This statement, of course, would lead any person with half a head on their shoulders to assume that Donald Trump, someone known for their public criticism of those who are not careful with what is private in an email, made an email to threaten FX. Unpacking this a tad further, we think President Trump thinks a secure email means having the word anonymous in the name… not a good look. Second, AOL? Does this presumed presidential message truly come from the tech giant of the 1990’s American On-Line? Talk about an insecure email ;).
Finally, all of this may have gone over the head of the public simply because, well, FX’s upcoming schedule isn’t exactly “news-worth”, but ur boi Donny J solidified this story on the front page by signing his so-called anonymous email with the presidential seal. Which to be clear, is a stamp of President Trump with a seals body. There is only one such stamp and it sits in the oval office.
